Removing the key mid-wait no longer counts as failed tries; the lock says No security key found and resumes when it is plugged back in. Korean is added. A second lock screen plugin enabled at once is named, with the command to disable it. Groups v1.9.2 to v1.9.4.

Details

Security key unlock through its own PAM service, omarchy-lock-fido2, set up once with bash extras/setup-fido2.sh. Boot screens made from a design now follow the display's aspect ratio. A monitor that disconnects when blanked no longer crashes the locked shell in a loop. Groups v1.7.2 to v1.7.7.

Also: Hardened file writes and the boot rotation's root helper; Weather design caps what it reads from wttr.in.

Details

Clip designs (Storm, Eyes, River) hold the first frame while locked and play on unlock; + New clip turns any video into one. The LUKS boot passphrase screen can now match the lock screen, shipped as a systemd-stub initrd addon. The explorer was redesigned with a sidebar. Groups v1.5.0 to v1.5.5.

Also: Pond, Constellation and Sparks react to typing; Motion loops a video; a broken design falls back to Classic and then a plain password field.

Preview Omarchy lock screen designs full size and switch to one with a key press.

Details

First releases (v1.1.0 to v1.4.0). The plugin replaces the built-in omarchy.lock service; omarchy-shell lock explore opens a grid of 24 designs with category filters, Space previews and Enter selects. Adds a code editor for your own designs, a show-password button, avatar images and an optional unlock animation.

Also: omarchy-shell lock setInputMonitor <output> chooses which monitor gets the sign-in; the others show a clock.

Omarchy plugin: omarchy plugin add https://github.com/SirJul1337/omarchy-lock-explorer.git --enable, then omarchy restart shell.
